Assessment Liquor Amnii

The assessment of amniotic fluid is a component of obstetric ultrasound, focusing on evaluating the quantity and quality of the fluid surrounding the fetus. During the ultrasound, a transducer is placed on the abdomen, emitting sound waves that bounce back to create images on a monitor. The amount of amniotic fluid is measured by determining the deepest vertical pocket (DVP) of fluid in the uterus.
