Chest-PA (posteroanterior) is an X-ray examination that provides a frontal view of the chest to evaluate the lungs, heart, ribs, and diaphragm. During the procedure, the X-ray beam passes from the back of the patient to the front, capturing an image as if the patient is facing the X-ray machine. This imaging technique is commonly used to detect conditions such as pneumonia, lung tumors, fractures, and heart abnormalities. It is also a routine screening tool for assessing respiratory and cardiac health.
